Die Filtern sind ähnlich aber greifen jeweils ein anderen Frequenzbereich um die 2 - 3 Kiloherz an. Ich finde es traumhaft wenn beide Filtern aktiviert sind. Wenn beide aktiviert sind muss mehr Wiederstand in den Schaltkreis und dazu ist der dritter Schalter da. Extra für mein Hörgeschmack entwickelt. Wer sehr gerne und oft laut hört kommt voll auf seine Kosten mit diesen Weichen. Der manchmal nervigen Mitteltonbereich ist samt und weich und von nervend keine Spur. Wenn man laut hört stimmt einfach alles. Sehr weicher detailreicher klarer Klangbild das Gänzehaut macht.Die Weichen sind eigentlich auf 15 Red getuned aber mit Golds klappt dass genau so gut wenn nicht ein Tick besser. Ich hatte erst Reds damit gehört aber die letzten Jahren nur mit Golds.Fragen werden gerne geantwortet. TANNOY Crossovers 15 Reds / 15 Golds Great sound!! Only 2 made!! 3 Years to get these right, fantastic sound. These are prototypes with extremely well balanced sound stage.Just the 2 capacitors in the High Frequency circuit costed 500 Euros per crossover and they were worth it! Jupiter Copper Foil Paper & Wax and Audyn True Copper Max.Integrated are the Notch Filters from Gold and Red. You can choose which filter with the switches. The filters are similar but effect slightly different areas of the sound spectrum around 2 - 3 kiloherz. I find it dreamy when both filters are active. With both filters activted together more resistence is needed in the circuit and that is what the third switch is for. I talor made these for my hearing preference. If you like to listen loud most of the time you will love these crossovers with both filters active! The sometimes nervy midrange is soft and not in the least nervy. If you like it loud the sound is pretty damned near perfect. Very soft detailed and clear sound on a black background that can give you goose bumps. Several people heard these and were quite impressed at what you can get out of a 15 Tannoy.The crossovers are actually tuned for15 Reds but work with Golds equally well if not a tick better. First I used Reds for some years but in the last few years was running these with Golds.Will answer any questions.

Pair of 15 Inch Tannoy Lancasters Boxed and Beautiful Containing classic Monitor Gold (LSU/HF/15/8) dual concentric drivers, it’s unlikely you’ll ever see another pair of these wonderful loudspeakers in this beautiful condition AND in their original Tannoy shipping cartons. Physical condition is as good as any we’ve seen (see close-up pictures). One very feint watermark on the top of each enclosure. The grille cloths are perfect, with no sagging, snags or splits, the woodwork is excellent, as are the Tannoy lightning badges. The rear panels were removed today for the first time since the day they were born. You can see that the serial numbers on each driver match the serial numbers stamped into the rear of the cabinets and written on the paper labels. It goes without saying that we have tested these and they sound exactly as they should - absolutely stunning with all types of music. If youre looking for affordable cabinets for your 15 inch Tannoy Monitor Golds (or possibly HPDs), then these will be ideal. No drivers or crossovers, these are cabinets only. Each cabinet measures: 84cm high, 54cm wide, and 31cm deep. They are in tidy condition for their age. The wood veneer is generally in good condition. The veneer on the top of one of the cabinets has worn away (please see photos for overall condition). The replacement cloth on the baffles is in nice clean condition. There is a small run in the cloth on one of the baffles(see photo) but hardly noticeable. The cabinets are ‘Collection Only’ (I’m unable to deliver them, nor do I have the time or resources to wrap them up for a courier) BUT they are on auction with a 99p start and no reserve, so they will be selling all the way from the first bid… The boring bits: viewing by appointment can be made prior to auction end(we’re in Malvern, Worcestershire – WR14 postcode). They sound AMAZING.Cosmetic: overall: fair condition – hence price.Wood: some minor marks, largely in keeping with age, although the front-top edge of one unit has some small dents as per picture.
