You will need to spend 3-10x more to improve the sound over this one. (Acoustic Revive RTP-6 does indeed win!)

This unit was tested for power only. I dont have the gear needed to test all the different features, and that includes testing it for output! The front right corner has cracked. Theres a slight buzzing sound coming from it while powered on. Additionally, theres a rattle to the unit that sounds like a piece of plastic knocking around (probably from the impact, but I cant say for sure.) This unit came from a smokers home and had to be left to air out a bit. The smell has lessened since Ive cleaned it. Im hesitant to downplay its smell, but I do have to get right up on it (literally inches) to detect it. Maybe if it heats up after a while it becomes worse, but since I cant test it, I cant say. Im selling this as parts & repair. Understand that in all likelihood you will need to do some repairs to this unit to get it working. I cant/wont guarantee working condition beyond powering on and displaying text on the display.

This Modius has served me well. However, I bought a Bifrost a couple of months ago and have used the Modius less and less. I figure this could go to a better home. This is the AKM version in good condition. I used it with a Magnius and Jotunheim 2 and sounded great. This auction includes the Modius AKM, usb cable, usb power brick and a smaller usb cable. I do not have the original box but will pack securely. The Modius has a slight scuff on the bottom and top as you can see from the pictures provided. Up for auction is a silver aluminum billet Denafrips Thallo discrete fully balanced power amplifier that Ive had as my reference amplifier since I purchased in May of 2022. The unit still has 1 year left on its fully transferrable warranty. The amp works perfectly, and I am only selling it as I upgraded to a tube amplifier 3 times the cost. This is a beautiful sounding amp. This pictures are of the exact unit for sale, except for the picture of the internal components which is a stock photo. The Thallo amp is 120 WPC into 8 Ohms, 220 WPC into 4 Ohms, and is 2 Ohm stable. Thallo has 2 Neutrik balanced XLR inputs, and does not have RCA single ended inputs (as this would degrade the fully balanced design). It also uses carbon Neutrik gold over copper binding posts.
