SUMIKO Blue Point Special EVO.3 / Hi High Output MC Cartridge Description & Condition only a main part. (There are no installation tools or lead wires.) I wonder if the red (right channel+) mark on the pin where the lead wire is inserted is missing. Because it is a high output MC cartridge, the phono equalizer can be played at the MM position. When we checked the operation, we confirmed that the sound came out without any problems. There is some signs of use on the exterior. The internal structure and ultra-fine lead wire of this cartridge are exposed on the side of the main body. Please be very careful when installing. Shipping We ship using FedEx, DHL and Japan Post. Music Hall MMF-7 turntable. Turntable is in great used condition. Plays and sounds great. Some swirling and scuffs on the cover consistent with use. A few small spots in the finish. I tried to take a lot of pictures so please look closely at the pictures. All in all this is a fantastic turntable. Low hours on the cart. Probably less than 30. Updated tonearm leads. Will be meticulously packed. Not my first rodeo shipping turntables. Note: The turntable will ship with the counterweight removed. You will need to know how to adjust the tracking force on the tonearm. A small gram scale is usually helpful (using the graduations on the counterweight will get you in the ballpark but is not very accurate). Good condition used Rega turntable with nice MC cartridge. Glass platter. Has NEW belt. Tested working and sounding as it should. Unknown hours on the MC cartridge. We acquired from an older audiophile who didn’t use this table much. The arm and deck are in great condition. The heavy plastic cover has light dust scuffing and abrasions on it. Very “buffable” and could be brought back to mirror shine.

The right and left channels ohm out properly and work as they should – I could not find a single scratch on the cartridge. The cartridge cantilever/stylus needs replacing! The Sumiko Blue Point cartridge is a warm & mellow sounding – very dynamic – separation is most excellent - nice tight natural sounding bass [not boomy at all] – Highs are very crisp yet never sounding metallic or artificial. The sound stage is really where this cartridge shines. While listening with one’s eyes closed, you actually hear not only stereo but a distinct three dimensional sound stage where the musicians and singers are positioned as in a concert. The sound quality of this cartridge is absolutely fantastic!
