Rega Planar 3 turntable fitted with a Sumiko Blue Point Special cartridge. Great overall condition, plays beautifully with a great sound. Good cosmetic condition, the dust cover is in very clean condition with only some micro scratches from dusting. The TT base has some smudges in the finish, these are visible in the photos, I have not tried to clean it so they may come off or may not. The tone arm is original. The Sumiko cartridge has been very well cared for, I use the Last products for the stylus, however it does have many hours of record playing. I also have a Rega Super Bias cartridge with very low play hours (the original one before changing to the BPS, in the original box) that will be included. The belt has low hours but the turntable has not been used for a while so the belt may need to be replaced. Edit to original description: I cleaned the smudges with a micro fiber and very mild soap solution, they cleaned up well however the finish is very susceptible to smudging apparently. I also noticed a very slight scuff/scratch under the tonearm in the process of cleaning. Not sure how that got there. I have added some new photos, with the lighting they are more noticeable in the photos than in person IMO so this is the worst case. Also added are photos of the extra Rega Super Bias cartridge. Es lief in einem MC Eingang sehr gut, wie gut es in einem MM Eingang funktioniert, weiß ich nicht. Ich habe versucht, die Nadel möglichst gut durch eine 10xLupe zu fotografieren, das ist aber nicht ganz so einfach! Shows very little signs of use please see photos for complete Details.From the web: The Blue Point Special EVO III is the latest incarnation of the long-standing Blue Point Special moving-coil cartridge range and is the Japanese manufacturer’s lowest-cost, high-output MC offering. It is available as either low or high-output – the latter enabling it to be used without a step-up transformer, the former requiring the transformer or a phono stage with a moving-coil input. Our review sample is a high-output version, although the specifications of both are the same.Weighing in at 8.3g, the EVO III is the most affordable Sumiko offering to utilise an ultra-low resonance open generator design. This features a resonance-controlled mounting plate in order to offer the lowest possible mechanical impedance. Here is the original Sumiko Blue Point high-output moving coil cartridge!! It is a P-mount type and includes the 1/2 inch adapter for use in a standard headshell. This is a very nice, used cartridge- the diamond tip is clean and sharp when viewed under magnification -and the suspension is in excellent condition!! Coils are very closely matched at 1054 and 1057 ohms (with adapter attached). Output is 3.0 mv- so this can be used directly into a standard moving magnet phono input!!
