Vintage Graphic Equalizer made in the USA by Soundcraftsmen. Purchased new in 1979. Soundcraftsman is well known for its quality and this equalizer is a gem. I am downsizing and selling a lot of my vintage gear. The last picture included here for reference shows part of the set-up it was being used in. Equalizer is in very good condition cosmetically with minor signs of use. There are just a few light rub marks on the front panel. Wood sides are excellent. All the original knobs are present & complete. It is in working order and all frequency bands work. It is an excellent equalizer and has performed well over the years. HOWEVER, due to very little use for quite a few years the faders have become very stiff and hard to move. They will need cleaning and lubing for efficient operation. Comes with original combination instructional test and calibration vinyl record / owners manual. Cables are included. Comes with original box and packing. Box has seen several moves around the country duing my career. Unit is currently in working order as described above, however due to the age and nature of vintage electronics anything can happen at any time. The last picture included shows part of the set-up it was being used in. Picture is for reference only.

Soundcraftsman RP2201-R vintage record-playback audio frequency equalizer Tested for power, buttons, and input/output (input was a Victrola record player; output was headphones). Listened to records for a few hours. Cant speak to the functionality of the equalization. I moved some knobs around, but didnt notice anything in particular (I dont have much experience with electronic equipment; this belonged to my father). Levers are very tight. I could move them, but they feel like they may need oil, or maybe an internal cleaning The leftmost lever is broken, but can still be moved up and down with pliers or a strong fingernail hahaha (see pics). The unit is in good, clean condition and looks very nice. The power cord is pliable and in tact. Shipped fast and safe from a long-time reliable seller. Soundcraftsman PE 2217 Equalizer & Pre-Amp. Classic audiophile equalizer. Last time I turned it on (20 years ago?), one or two sliders was a bit noisy and could use replacement. Otherwise, always worked fine. Note though, I’ve not turned it on since. Maybe a capacitor has dried out since? Just guessing, I’m an electrical engineer. Case is in fair condition, some of the fake walnut veneer material is cracking off the edges as the photos show. I have the original user manual, and user cards that show how front and rear panels function, you’ll also receive these. $350 + shipping

This is a classic vintage Soundcraftsman equalizer. It comes with the original test record and manual. It is overall very clean, but the sliders are very sticky and will need slider lube. I tested the unit and its in working condition. This is a great piece of audio history for your collection.

We have swapped the valves in pairs from left to right and the problem still stays on the left. Cosmetically very nice, with little in the way of imperfections. I cannot find any info on this amp on-line… i have no idea of it’s original price, but it seems really nicely made. I would be interested if any one has any info on this unusual amp….
