Here we have a near mint working example of Sonys radio cassette player. It has just had a new belt fitted. Additionally, the head, capstan, pinch roller and pulleys have been cleaned. The switches have been internally cleaned, and the whole unit deep cleaned and polished. The motor speed had been checked, and all cassette functions perform correctly. The headphone jack has been checked on the board and with headphones, and is solid - providing left & right channels reliably. The AVLS works effectively, and is demonstrated in the video. The battery terminals are shiny and bright, with no previous battery leakage. The battery door locks in properly. The overall condition is extremely clean, with only very minor wear for its 30+ years of enjoyment. It appears to barely have been used. The stereo has been tested with mains power and batteries at the time of listing, and a video taken for peace of mind. It can run off a 3 volt DC adaptor, or 2 ‘AA’ batteries (not supplied). All original knobs, switches etc present and in working order. Please see the photos of the actual item for sale, as they are an important part of the description. It is a great sounding unit, having just been serviced - so it’s ready to go - either as a decoration, or a cool retro cassette for the home, studio, or on the move. A lovely, portable, vintage but functional item! In fact, you could hook it up to pretty much anything with an auxiliary input if you just wanted an occasional tape player.
