Carver C - 3 Sonic Holographie Vorverstärker in sehr gutem Zustand! 220 Volt (neue Kondensatoren im Netzteil) Sehr guter Vorverstärker mit Sonic Holographie! (auch ohne Holographie sehr gut!) Neue Elkos im Netzteil. Funktioniert einwandfrei bis auf einem Schalter. Der Ton Defeat Schalter hatte sehr schlechten Kontakt. Also habe ich eine Drahtbrücke eingebaut. (Fotos) Die Schalter bekommt man nicht mehr als Ersatz. Der Schalter läßt man einfach mit Tonregler eingeschaltet. Man kann auch die Drahtbrücke anders ansetzen wenn man lieber pur hören möchte; das geht aber trotzdem weiterhin zumindest mit CDs. (CD Direktschalter) Man kann natürlich die Drahtbrücke entfernen wenn man möchte und mit schlechten Kontakte leben.... Alle Eingänge arbeiten perfekt! Lautstärkeregler sowie Drehregler sind Rausch frei. Optisch noch sehr gut! Deckel habe ich frisch lackiert wegen ein Paar Kratzer. Fotos anschauen. Vorderseite fast neuwertig. Holographie für nicht Kenner ist kein billiger Effekt sondern ein vom Bob Carver ausgereifter Schaltung der den Klang um einiges verbessert. Mit Holographie hört es sich so an als wenn die Lautsprecher weiter auseinander wären und die Musik löst sich regelrecht von den Boxen ab. Die Instrumente werden um einiges räumlicher dargestellt und je nach Aufnahme Qualität manchmal sehr beeindruckend! Man hört als Klänge die unmittelbar von Links oder Rechts zu kommen scheinen. Man muss dafür die Lautsprecher richtig aufstellen und genau in der Mitte sitzen aber da wird man belohnt!! Natürlich kann man auch ganz normal ohne Holographie hören wem man möchte aber wer Holographie kennt will oft nicht mehr ohne hören. The contacts on this button were pretty nervy so I put a wire bridge in. (permanent tone controls)The wire bridge can be changed for permanent bypass of tone controls but you still have the CD Direct button for CDs at least. The wire bridge can be removed of course if poor contacts don´t bother you. The tone control button should not be used with the wire bridge built in. Only works properly in the tone control active positon. Looks good! Painted the cover because of some scratches. The front ist still newish looking. The preamp has tremendous well detailed sound and with Sonic Hologrphie turned on breath taking sound stage and depth depending on the recording being heard!

XLR CD transport to DAC and SPDIF to DAC. Then RCA / CAMAC to Phono stage from Turntable. This covers all bases for me. It's an incredible amp a few years old now but competes with some of the best at it's level and above . We tested mark Levinson preamp and amps last year using these but we only used two and they worked perfectly. They came from the collection of a person that took very good care of his equipment. I could, however, criticize his use of duct tape to mark the ends. The tape will remain for the winner to use or clean as they see fit since I don’t want to risk damage if I clean it off.
