This unit was not working when I found it. Im not a professional electronics repairman, but this repair was a pretty straightforward replacement of the carousel, and CD loading belts. Its working great now. Theres another belt under the carousel that operates the door. The door works fine, but Im including the replacement for that one (it came as a set of 3), if it needs to be changed someday.

Used but in great cosmetic and working condition. It has been thoroughly tested and works perfectly. I did not refurbish the whole unit but I did replace the old belts (which were completely shot) and carefully cleaned the laser diode with a lint free polyester swab and 100% isopropyl alcohol. There is some wear/scuffing but it is very minimal. Please see the pictures to familiarize yourself with how it looks as they will do a much better job than my words will. And if you want any more pics, just let me know and Ill get those for you as soon as I can. Oh yeah, also there is no remote. The person I got this from had already lost this by the time they gave it to me. I believe a new/used one can easily be had from ebay or amazon however. Let me know if you have any questions! All functions work perfectly as they should and it plays CDs with ABSOLUTELY ZERO skipping (obviously unless if your CD is scratched up or dirty...) Please view all pictures for closeups! It has a fresh belt set, cleaned laser lens, and a totally disassembled and re-lubricated laser transport tracking assembly. This consists of the gear drive and metal guide rail the laser head rides on. When this is not addressed, it can lead to skipping during playback. Many a time I find that all the original grease in all these units begins to harden and become more like a tacky, wet glue rather than a slick lubricant.
