hello! up for sale is a very nice sony cdp-cx355 400 disk cd player. serviced first i remove all excessive grease and put where needed. grease fumes deteriorate the rubber belts. cleaned the pulleys and install 2 new .075 inch thickness belts for longes professionallyr life. originals are .050. cleaned door belt and pulleys. never had a door belt go bad. servo board has reel capacitors, not surface mount which i always replace. they all checked good. lubed sled and spindle motors and spun up till smooth and quiet, clean and lube home switch, clean and lube sled and check for tac, clean laser lens. all function work perfectly and plays great. almost 50 years i have been doing this professionally. thanks for looking. roy.

All functions work perfectly as they should and it plays CDs with ABSOLUTELY ZERO skipping (obviously unless if your CD is scratched up or dirty...) Please view all pictures for closeups! Ordered by a local client, that has since disappeared, started with a nice working changer, replaced all belts with new, cleaned old oil from rails laser travels on and relubricated with synthetic watch oil, took a look at the rollers the carousel rides on they here healthy and cleaned the laser pickup. Have attempted to contact my buyer with no success and need to cover my hours and costs as selling vintage audio equipment is not a get rich quick scheme and cant afford to service something and let it just sit on a shelf.
