It turns on and the lights appear to work. When I put a cassette in, it fast-forwards and rewinds without issue, however the play function does not engage the heads. Since it is a European Model, it could have to do with the fact that I did not have a full spec power transformer, having used only an international adapter plug. it is strictly sold AS-IS, NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS. Zum Verkauf kommt hier ein inzwischen sehr seltener SONY TONKOPF HEAD TAPE KOPF Modell RPA 230 - 3605. Meines Wissens passend für verschiedene Sony und Revox Kassetten Geräte. Angeblich bei Revox B215 und B710. Da die Tonköpfe aus einem alten Revox Bestand kommen würde das Sinn machen. Allerdings kann ich für diese Information nicht garantieren….Ob es für Ihr Gerät passt bitte vor dem Kauf klären. Der Kopf ist NOS. Also noch nicht verbaut gewesen und noch in Folie verschweißt. Beim Kauf erhalten Sie einen neuen noch verpackten Kopf. Der Kopf auf den Fotos wurde nur für die Bilder ausgepackt. SONY TC-K555ES Cassette Deck. It turns on and the lights appear to work. I played a cassette in it and it had audio output from RCA jacks and the headphone jack. I did NOT test all the functions or the recording function. Due to the fact that I dont know much about cassette decks AND vintage decks can be quirky and have transport issues that I dont know to test for, it is strictly sold AS-IS, NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
