Player has been tested and is working and is ready to use. I did notice that the loader is a bit noisy when loading but then quiets down. (please see photos and video). Comes with New Remote Control (not the original but compatible). The player features DTS compatibility and built-in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound decoder. This is a large player coming in at just over 22 lb (before shipping materials) and measuring 17” wide by 19.25 deep and 8” high. Unit has been tested with both CD and DVD, remote has been tested with it as well and everything works great. Unit has been cleaned and is in very nice USED condition still has small smudges and dust but no real damage or major scratching. Please see pictures before purchase to make your own judgement. This Sony DVP-CX850D DVD/CD/Videos CD player is a great addition to your home entertainment system. It has a black color and can hold up to 200 discs. it was manufactured in Malaysia as early as 1999, an official release in 2003. It has a maximum resolution of 720p (HD) and a contrast ratio of 720 x 480 pixels. The player has connectivity options such as audio input, 5.1CH output, line output, S video output, composite video output, digital output, S-link, Mega control, and key board input. It features a home theater receiver, digital tuner, and SACD. The player is compatible with CD, DVD, and VIDEO CD media formats. Please note that this unit comes without a remote but works perfectly.

This unit was refurbished by Sony about a year ago and had all the belts professionally replaced and gears lubed. This unit is incredibly quiet when turned on and the carousel is rotating. Unit has been maintained very well with no real defects to speak of. However the remote is not the original remote that came with this unit. While it is still a Sony remote, some functions on the remote do not work ( to my knowledge, anyways.) Functions that DO work with the remote: Power On/Off Play Pause Stop DVD menu Program Shuffle Number pad And many more. Really, the only thing that isn’t compatible or I haven’t been able to find a way to use it is the open/close button, and the jog wheel. Again, can’t stress enough how good of condition this is in. A full 77-page owners manual is also included, though it is a reproduction for what it’s worth..Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions!

For the Sony : DVP-CX850D All Sony 200, 300 or 400 Disc CD Player exchangers are disassembled, Cleaned and inspected. All units will come with a remote which is either the original Sony remote or a generic remote that performs the basic functions *( Will be described in Listing which is included). You can still use the front control panel on every unit for all the functions. All units will come with the original operators manual if available or a reprinted copy if available. All the belts are replaced including:Rear Carousel Drive BeltCD Loading Mechanism BeltFront Door (Unless door is drop down model which doesnt require a belt) The CD/DVD laser mechanism is cleaned and lubricated. The laser lens is Cleaned All guiding rails are cleaned and lubed. All Control Circuit Boards are inspected All Wiring and Flat Ribbon Signal cables are inspected All LED sensors for monitoring the carousel wheel or each CD is cleaned. The carousel wheel is lubricated. The door mechanism is cleaned and the alignedment is verified. The switches are cleaned. Any and All issues or problems found are fixed and parts are replaced if required. The Entire inside of the exchanger is cleaned. The Entire Exchanger is tested for hours and if everything passes all the tests its reassembled and tested for hours again. The Final test is a 12 hour continous cycling function test that must cycle random CD/DVDs and play each CD/DVD without any errors. The player is reset to factory settings. All CD/DVD Exchangers are used and have normal wear and scratches. All the pictures in the listing are of the actual CD/DVD player Exchanger that is being sold so please review all of the pictures for the units actual condition.
