As a DVD player, its as good or better than many single-disc players that sold for $1000 or more a year ago. Add to that the fact that the CX850D is the only affordable DVD mega changer currently on the market (there is also a $5,000 DVD changer from Escient and a $15,000 DVD changer from Runco).This is a great DVD player, and its the only 200-disc DVD changer you can buy at an affordable price. The $799 street price is a terrific value for a player of this quality, even without the 200-disc changer. With the ability to serve as a 200-disc film library, its a steal -- and right now, its the only game in town.
