This Sonos Connect 2nd Generation S2 media streamer is a versatile addition to your home entertainment setup. It offers a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and supports digital audio coaxial RCA output. With its sleek design and compact size, this unit is easy to set up and configure, allowing you to stream your favorite music and other media with ease. Featuring advanced features and reliable performance, this Sonos Connect 2nd Gen S2 has been thoroughly tested and is in excellent working order.

I have a Sonos Connect:Amp that is 2nd generation and running off the S2 operating system. I added a screenshot that shows the S2 OS version that it is setup with and it also shows model 47. This Sonos Amp was designed in the USA and made in China. I do not know what year it was released, but I do know its the 2nd gen due to what the software shows on my Android phone. It also has the play/pause button on the front. The 1st gen I believe has a mute button instead. This Sonos Amp has a WiFi connection and has 2 Ethernet ports on the back of the unit. I went ahead and tested and verified this Sonos Amp works. First, I went ahead and did a factory reset on this device. You do this by having the power unplugged, then holding down the play/pause button on the front of the device. While still pressing down on that button, plug the power in. Button still pressed, keep holding it down until it starts to blink orange/yellow. Once it starts blinking that color, go ahead and take the finger off the button. Next, wait until the light starts blinking green. Once it starts blinking green, it has been factory reset. It could take 20 seconds or longer for it to go from blinking orange/yellow to green. Once that its blinking green, I went on my Android phone and installed the Sonos app. After installing and opening it up, I selected to setup the device and it would then require you to login. I created a new account and logged in. From there, follow the on-screen instructions. I set up this Sonos Connect: Amp using the built-in WiFi connection. Once it is setup, its all ready to connect to your speaker system. This Sonos amp has been used before and does have some wear and tear. This includes some scratches and markings on the device. But its still in good condition and verified working. You can review the photos provided for this listing to get a better idea of the overall look and condition of this item.
