Every single one of them had either failed, or had components inside that were obviously going to fail. The problem is that the capacitors used in these units are cheap and they fail with time (and they do so much faster than other similar devices like your TV or stereo, partly because your Sonos devices are constantly powered up). The capacitors dry out and literally change shape (bulge) and leak! As they near failure, the device may have trouble booting up, or will reboot itself, or will lose network connectivity, or wont connect to your audio sources. I open these up and replace the power supply capacitors. I use better replacement parts than the original ones, and as a result the device will last for many years. Dont buy a used Sonos Connect device that has not had this repair done to it, as you are tempting fate!! These repaired devices are a much better investment!!! Up for sale is a used Sonos Connect (Gen 1) S1 Digital Streamer Receiver. The unit has been tested and does work. Unit was connected to ethernet cord to set up unit. After ethernet cord setup, unit is able to be disconnected and stream via wireless. However, it only works with the Sonos S1 App. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking!!!

This is a Sonos Connect:Amp that from what I can tell is a Gen 2. It has the pause play button on the front and the serial starts with 15xx. Please check photo for exact serial number to confirm yourself before purchase. Not sure if it has been updated yet or not but should be able to be updated if they have not been. I am not an expert on these speakers but did do a quick connect to the Sonos app (note: not Sonos 1 app) with it, and was able to get it to pair and put out sound just fine. Over all good shape, no big scratches or digs although again please refer to photos for any specific areas of damage. Selling a few Sonos products so check my store for similar products! Fast shipping and being sold as is in tested and confirmed working state. Once again if you know how to best identify an S1 vs S2 products please check yourself.
