I purchased this used on ebay and used it for about 10 months. Decided to move another direction. This is Gen 2 and works, though i found wifi was unreliable, it worked better with a wired network connection. This seems to be standard behavior for this hardware.

USED Sonos connect amp Gen 2. This amp is compatible with the current version of sonos as well as the previous S1 app.

This is a Sonos Connect:Amp that from what I can tell is a Gen 2. It has the pause play button on the front and the serial starts with 15xx. Please check photo for exact serial number to confirm yourself before purchase. Not sure if it has been updated yet or not but should be able to be updated if they have not been. I am not an expert on these speakers but did do a quick connect to the Sonos app (note: not Sonos 1 app) with it, and was able to get it to pair and put out sound just fine. Over all good shape, no big scratches or digs although again please refer to photos for any specific areas of damage. Selling a few Sonos products so check my store for similar products! Fast shipping and being sold as is in tested and confirmed working state. Once again if you know how to best identify an S1 vs S2 products please check yourself.
