Item is a Linear Tracking Automatic Turntable with Cartridge. Features a quartz locked 33 1/3 RPM and 45 RPM speed, with a massive aluminum table. Fully automatic for record sizes of 30, 25, and 17 cm. Comes with heavy-duty VPI isolation base, and an acclaimed Shure V15 Type 2 cartridge. The isolation base stops sub-woofer vibrations causing miss-tracking of the stylus. The Opto-sensors, common failure parts in this model, have been replaced with modern, high-reliability sensors from Omron part number: EE-SX398. Complete with the purchase will be the original user guide, and the Yamaha Service Manual. Because of the enormous weight of the isolation base, and the turntable itself, I prefer selling this turntable in the San Francisco Bay Area. I can deliver the turntable and base within 150 miles of zip 94087. For shipping to other addresses in the USA, the cost will be at least $280.00. Ive replaced the primary drive belt, and included two spares plus adjusting the secondary carrier belt tension. The result: perfect totally silent tracking across the disk, auto pickup at the disk end, and complete return of the arm to home without any intervention. I have the lockdown mechanism from Yamahas original shipment, so I will ship the turntable and isolation base units if required. I also have a Shure V15 Type V cartridge and a spare Yamaha cartridge shell, plus a Fairchild monaural stylus for playing 78 RPM records. I have a D4 record cleaning kit unused, to include with the purchase.

Here is a Shure cartridge model V15 Type IV. The coils on this 1/2 mount cartridge measure, 1398,1401. There is a 45HE stylus on this cartridge, however the condition of the needle is unknown. The table will be listed shortly. The only little thing is the brush in the front could be made more firm with a little adhesive. I never used the brush myself and dont recommend it.
