Here is a very rare, genuine Shure VN478E elliptical stylus for their V15-IV (Type 4) audiophile cartridge!! It is made for 78 RPM playback ONLY. This could very well be NOS- the diamond is super clean and sharp and there appears to be no telltale lines on the brass insert pin that typically show from installation in the cartridge body. However, as we prefer to err on the side of caution, we will offer this as very lightly used. Cardboard outer box is quite shopworn (and taped)- will include if requested. Listing is for one cartridge, one stylus, screws, and square nuts. Cartridge is good and plays and sounds as it should. The stylus has issues. It has a good cantilever and diamond. However, the stylus plays with static on both channels. It sounds like a grain of something is in the cantilever tube? Bad suspension, maybe? Or something else? Can it be fixed? I do not know? Die Nadel ist wie neu. Der Klang ist sehr gut. Das Original Gehäuse wurde durch ein hochwertiges Holzgehäuse umgewechselt. Der Plattenspieler funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Steuerpimpel wurde ausgewechselt. Er befindet sich in einem schönen Zustand, siehe Bilder. Die ist Haube wurde poliert und ist schön klar und ohne Risse. Kleinere Kratzer sind aber noch vorhanden. Siehe Bilder. Der Antiresonator hängt ein bißchen runter, schwingt aber frei, so wie er soll. Siehe letztes Bild. Technisch einwandfrei. Verkaufe hier einen Thorens Plattenspieler TD 145 MK II mit Shure V15 Type III Tonabnehmer und Chinch Stecker. Der Plattenspieler befindet sich in einem guten gebrauchten Zustand (siehe Bilder). Technisch ist der Plattenspieler in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Abschalt-Automatik reagiert teilweise etwas sensibel, dann ist etwas feingefühl beim Absenken des Tonarms gefragt. Er hat dem alter entsprechend leichte Kratzer auf der Haube, so wie die ein oder andere sehr kleine Macke am Gehäuse.
