I’m selling my lightly used Schiit Saga+ tube preamp. This preamp works flawlessly, sounds great, and is in excellent cosmetic condition. So why am I selling it? I bought a second amp (drastic overkill that I’m starting to think may not have been the best use of my money) and need a preamp that provides balanced XLR outputs. If I could feed my twin amps with the Saga+, I wouldn’t be selling. It comes with the preamp, the original 6SN7 tube, cord, remote, all of the original documentation and packaging; the same way I got it new. The remote even has a new battery installed! From the Schiit manual: “Saga+ is a no-compromise, ultra-high-end preamp cleverly disguised with a low price. You won’t find and volume-control chips or other shortcuts in Saga—just uber-quality techniques as used in the most expensive audio gear. Up for sale is a Schiit Saga + Preamplifier in excellent working condition. It includes the stock Tung Sol 6SN7 tube, and a GE USA 6SN7 tube, and a Marconi Japan 6SN7 tube. All tubes are in good working order. The GE tube adds quite a bit of air to the top end and has excellent imaging. The Marconi tube adds some slam to the mids and bass vs the Tung Sol. This listing also includes a LISST from Schiit, which allows the Saga+ to operate without worry of tube burnout. I have the original remote and power cable, that both work great as well.
