Schiit Bifrost 2/64 Digital to Analog analog Converter- most recent edition. This was used lightly over the course of 2.5 months, and works perfectly. There is a minor scratch near the front button, as seen in the photo, but barely noticeable. The unit is solid, and comes with a metal remote control. Has USB, optical and coaxial digital inputs. And has a non-oversampling mode. The USB input is really special. This DAC really brings the CDs and streaming digital music alive, and has a slightly warm and natural sound. A huge upgrade over internal DACs units, and most ESS and AKM chipset-based DACs. This is on par with R2R DACs that cost thousands more. Selling a great Schiit Stack in excellent condition. It consists of a Schiit Bifrost 2/64 DAC and a Schiit Jotunheim 2 Headphone Amp. This DAC and amp can be utilized for either balanced or single ended configurations. Both units will come with 3’ and 6’ power cables. I will also be including a 10” set of PYST XLR balanced cables. The headphone amp can also be used as a preamp. Both the balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs can be used at the same time, so its a versatile little box. Another note concerning the headphone amp is that it will drive pretty much any headphones currently in production.The headphone amp does not come with the optional DAC card. This should be obvious since I bought an external DAC, but just want to make sure this is understood since its an option offered through Schiit. You can still order the add-on through their site if you desire.
