Schiit Audio Asgard 2 Headphone Amp, lightly used

This Schiit Audio Asgard 2 headphone amp is in very good cosmetic condition and works fine. It is a Class A amp, so it does run warm and can get hot over longer listening sessions, so nothing should be stacked in top of it (as should be pretty obvious by the large vent grill on top and the sides. On the back are the stereo RCA input, preamp output low/high gain switch...and the course, the on/off power switch. This amp imparts a nice bit of warmth to the music, so it is not for anyone that is looking for a more clinical, technical, or neutral sound. The amp can output up to 1W into 32 ohm headphones, but likely is not a good match for extremely power hungry planar magnetic headphones like the DCA Stealth and Expanse or Hifiman Susvara. A generic power cable is included. Standard ground shipping is included in the purchase price, aka free.

This unit is very lightly used. Hardly at all. Unit is also listed on USAM. This unit comes with the most recent version of the True Multibit DAC card. If you are unaware, Schiit released a new version of this DAC chip in June of 2023.
