Amazing quality speakers. I believe these are the Madisound MDY3 or MDY4 kit speakers. Extremely high quality components. Dynaudio 6.5” woofers 17W75 and tweeters are D28/2. Top quality copper air core coils and French capacitors. Solid MDF construction with rounded corners and beautiful beach blonde real wood veneer. They were originally setup on their sides hence the rubber pads that can easily be removed if desired. These speakers sound excellent and practically disappear when setup correctly. Happy vintage Linn/Naim system owner here. Im very happy with pair of Kan MK1 with Hiquphon tweeter, curious of what Scanspeak tweeter would sound like and bought this very early pair (S/N 35xx). Sadly one of them arrived with defect (see the crack in the last photo), so working not as expected, and my hometown is apparently lack of speakers restoring experts to help, repairing fee+shipping fee to experts just too much for me to afford. I hope to let go of this pair to whom have a big love of Kan MK1 with minimal price, especially those who love the original Kan, with some easiest repairing (rest of parts are all intact) they sing just great. I will stay with my Hiquphon Kan at the moment. Would be well packed and ready to ship from Hong Kong to worldwide. Excellent condition, bought it old new stock from Fritz of Fritz Speakers. He used them in Carbon 7s speakers. One spare driver is left and is for sale. I know that 18W/8545 retail for $240 each or more if you order then in Europe with shipping they are $300 each. See the pictures it is in excellent condition, it was stored properly (cone down). You can see resistance measurements on my multimeter.

Die Boxen sind die Originale, die in der Fachzeitschrift Hobby HiFi 6/2008 vorgestellt wurden. Die Boxen sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, spielen aber noch tadellos. Auch weisen die Lautsprecher-Chassis keine Alterserscheinungen auf und die Elektronik von Thel und JeanAudio arbeitet nach wie vor absolut zuverlässig. Die Gehäuse sind ebenfalls noch schön. ???? Die Hochtöner von Visaton (nicht mehr vorhanden) habe ich gegen ScanSpeak illuminator R3004 per Adapter getauscht. Die ScanSpeak passten wegen ihrer stärkeren Richtcharakteristik besser zur letzen Raumsituation. Ein Rücktausch wäre aber durch den Käufer problemlos möglich. Der oben genannte Zeitungsartikel ist auszugsweise der Bildergalerie zu entnehmen. Dort können auch nähere Details zu den Boxen nachgelesen werden. An einer Box fehlt am Anschlussterminal für die Stromversorgung die Kunststoffabdeckung für die Sicherungen. Funktioniert aber auch ohne.Der untere Mitteltöner der linken Box hat am oberen Rand eine kleine Delle. Es ist kostenloser Ersatz aus gleicher Charge vorhanden ! ????
