Unit was taken apart. Controls cleaned and tested. Full recap. Works great and sounds sweet. There is one little glitch. The Bandwidth sliders when the EQ is engaged are worn at the ends. More on the left channel. When pushed to the ends it will give some static feedback. I heavily greased them with DeOxit fader grease and when moved gently and slowly it operates without problem most of the time. Minor wear and tear.

This item does power on, no further tests. All switches are there. Unit is relatively clean— the front screws are hazy; I have not pulled them off to clean them. The unit is missing a foot on the bottom. There are some engravings on the back. Sold as parts.

I am selling a classic vintage SAE 2900 preamp with parametric equalizers. It has a black anodized front panel that is in excellent shape. Any spots on the front in the pictures are dust. All buttons and sliders are intact. All the sliders move smoothly and produce no noise or static in use. It has 2 phono inputs, a tuner input, aux input, and hookups for 2 tape decks (that can be used for other device input). It has 2 switched AC plugs (to turn on an attached amp) and 2 unswitched AC plugs I ran an SAE 50w per channel amp off the switched port. Please note the power limits of the AC plugs in the picture if you have large amps. SAE was an American audio manufacturer known for its high end products. It worked great for me when I used it many years ago, and has been boxed in a closet for the last 25 to 30 years. I hooked it up to an SAE Amp and some speakers and tested all the inputs, buttons, and sliders, and everything seems to be functioning fine. I am selling it as is, as I cannot guarantee any issues due to age, but the testing I just did seemed to show everything is working. I will pack it well to protect it in shipping. I only ship to the continental US, and will use a ground carrier (probably FedEX). It will probably take a week to arrive unless you are on the west coast. I only ship to the continental US.
