The Hype:This is the Rev. A Roon Nucleus. That means this is the original and (in my opinion) best Roon Nucleus made. Why? Because it features a solid aluminum case which is the Nucleuss heatsink. Its the most compact, and is 100% completely silent. In normal operation it remains cool to the touch, and in heavy operation gets mildly warm. It is solid, heavy, and very understately striking to look at. It blends seamlessly into your network and environment and provides access to all your local digital music, and Titdal and Qobuz streaming services in one clean user interface. Its also available at a small fraction of its original retal price. This is the bad-ass version of the Roon Nucleus, and one thats hard to find. The new versions of this Roon Nucleus are either made from plastic, or cost close to $4000 and have almost identical hardware with a flashy exterior that serves little to no purpose. This unit is the real deal. And the one I know youll want. The Facts: This is a used Roon Nucleus Rev. A music server / streamer deviceIt features the standard Intel I3 processor and comes as configured from roon with the inclusion of a 1TB Samsung SSD drive Ive taken pictures of the hardware exterior and of its user interface screen shots so you can see that the unit is in good working order and the serial numbers reported by the software match those on the hardware.
