Dear Audio Friends, since I have decided to shift to a one-box core + streamer solution like the Pink Faun X.16 or Antipodes Oladra I am parting with my Black Stack Audio VOLT PSU for the Roon Nucleus. I purchased it in September 2022 directly from Stack Audio in the UK as it is one of the BEST Nucleus PSUs out there.Next to its rock-solid build quality, massive aluminum housing, quality transformers, etc., it provides an outstanding gain in sonic performance. For me, the design aspect was a major factor as well.It has the same matte black color and height as the Nucleus (Ver. B) and fits next to it in a standard Hifi rack, making it the perfect companion. The design is smooth and unobtrusive, perfect for luxury understatement. This is a 100V - 120V unit and has a 60cm cable which is perfect if you put it next to the Nucleus (on the left side seen from the front plate) Additionally, I asked Theo Stack to install a red LED instead of the original blue one in a special order to match my Pink Faun 3.4 streamer. The VOLT comes with all accessories and full packaging (the power cord and outer box are not on the pictures but are included). The overall condition is mint as it came from Stack Audio. I obtained it from an estate sale and had to purchase a non-OEM power cable. It powers on fine and the startup screen comes up if I connect to a monitor. The is the rev B (i.e. the newer) version of the Nucleus+. It was serviced* by roon in May, 2023, and has not been used (other than to confirm hat it works) since the servicing. * The servicing was required because of a performance issue that was fixed by roon by adding a dab of heatsink compound between the CPU and heatsink. I factory reset the unit and cleared the files from the SSD, so you should be able to set up the Nucleus as if youre the first user.
