The Radius 7 can be purchased with or without the latest-generation hand built NIMA tonearm.This is a genuine Summer House Sounds New/Surplus Stock Item. Previously on shelf display, never had a cartridge fitted and was not used for any demonstrations. Has been unboxed and fully tested. Pristine, and everything working as it should be. As far as I know, this item has never been registered for warranty. I cannot guarantee that Roksan would accept it after this period of time but its worth a try. Roksan says it has redesigned the decoupled motor in the Radius 7 from scratch, while also borrowing speed control technology from the company’s flagship £6,000+ Xerxes turntable. The Nima Tonearm uses a uni-pivot design and has the same internal wiring as the flagship Artemiz tonearm.Combining solid aluminium alloy tubing, a stainless steel alloy and polished acrylic; this remarkable arm is made of no less than ten individual precision-machined components which are then meticulously put together by skilled hands at Roksan.The Roksan Nima tonearm does not have standard internal wiring; so in order to transmit the signal from the cartridge in as higher quality as possible, the same flat-printed, circuit board cable developed for our top-of-the-range Artemiz arm is employed. The unique design of the transit locking mechanism of the bearing assembly not only provides a safe transportation method, but also avoids damage if the arm is accidentally lifted off its bearing. The counterweight is decoupled and designed to mount off-centre thus allowing easy Azimuth correction. Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) adjustment provides optimum alignment for almost any cartridge. The combination of polished acrylic headshell, silver anodised aluminium tubing and mirror chromed counterweight enhances NIMAs looks and conveys the true lightness and neutrality of this very special arm. The Nima has a brilliantly natural, cohesive sound reproduction and in conjunction with the Radius 5 and a good cartridge such as the Roksan Corus produces a vast panoramic sound with plenty of clarity and punch. Roksan Nima Unipivot Tonearm A chance to buy an effectively brand new Nima Tonearm with a saving of £400! This is a genuine Summer House Sounds New/Old Stock Item. Previously on shelf display, never had a cartridge fitted and was not used for any demonstrations. Has been unboxed and fully tested. Pristine, and everything working as it should be. As far as I know, this item has never been registered for warranty. I cannot guarantee that Roksan would accept it after this period of time but its worth a try. (5 Year Warranty Normally) A warranty can be negotiated via Summer House Sounds if required. The Nima Tonearm uses a uni-pivot design and has the same internal wiring as the flagship Artemiz tonearm.Combining solid aluminium alloy tubing, a stainless steel alloy and polished acrylic; this remarkable arm is made of no less than ten individual precision-machined components which are then meticulously put together by skilled hands at Roksan.The Roksan Nima tonearm does not have standard internal wiring; so in order to transmit the signal from the cartridge in as higher quality as possible, the same flat-printed, circuit board cable developed for our top-of-the-range Artemiz arm is employed. The unique design of the transit locking mechanism of the bearing assembly not only provides a safe transportation method, but also avoids damage if the arm is accidentally lifted off its bearing. The counterweight is decoupled and designed to mount off-centre thus allowing easy Azimuth correction. Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) adjustment provides optimum alignment for almost any cartridge. The combination of polished acrylic headshell, silver anodised aluminium tubing and mirror chromed counterweight enhances NIMAs looks and conveys the true lightness and neutrality of this very special arm. The Nima has a brilliantly natural, cohesive sound reproduction and in conjunction with the Radius 5 and a good cartridge such as the Roksan Corus produces a vast panoramic sound with plenty of clarity and punch. Anti skate weight for the Roksan Radius 5 turntable fitted with the Nima tonearm. This anti skate weight is made as a close replica of the original. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *
