Reads CDs and wave files for DVDs.It reads 24bits/172khz from CD/DVD with such files.Works incredibly well with any type of media discs.The reader is a slot load one, easy to change when needed. In the player, now, I installed an new LG reader - I will also ship the original reader, Teac, which is not faulty, but had 8-9 years of service. I also changed the main capacitors (from power supply) - some ordinary Samwha - with Epcos B41505 Long Life capacitors. Some anti vibration material applied on the two transformers, on the LG DVD reader and under it, on players lid.It has aluminum remote control, the LCD screen can be dimmed in 6 steps or closed. I also changed the fuse for a Soviet era pure silver fuse which is much better than anything I tried, including HiFiTuning Ultimate or Synergistic Black Reference - although they still have criminal politics, they made back then some very good tubes, fuses and capacitors. Zum Klang ist im Netz schon genug geschrieben worden.Der Wavelight, der hier verkauft wird, ist 11 Monate alt, Rechnung von Loftsound und OVP sind vorhanden.Aufgerüstet wurde der DAC mit der Audio Magic Ultimate Premier Feinsicherung, die ich im Gerät belassen würde. Die Sicherung kostet einzeln 350 Euro, der Wavelight kostet 5890 Euro.Versenden würde ich am liebsten via DHL. Zuvor wären Banküberweisung und Paypal möglich. Bei Frage: einfach anschreiben.
