Dieses Laufwerk hat massives Chassis aus Messing. Der Arm der Lasereinheit ist doppelt kugelgelagert und wird ähnlich wie ein Drehspulinstrument berührungslos und verschleißfrei angetrieben. Der Laser wird über sechs präzisionsgeschliffene Glaslinsen aus dem Hause Rodenstock fokussiert. Der Spindelantrieb ist extrem laufruhig und sehr verschleißarm. Bei der A/D Wandlung hat Revox an nichts gespart. Zum Einsatz kamen äußerst hochwertige A/D Wandler, die in der Lage sind ein Maximum aus jeder CD herauszuholen. Das Gerät wurde innen wie außen gründlich gereinigt. Der äußerliche Zustand ist gut mit nur wenigen Gebrauchsspuren. Auf dem Deckel und auf den Seitenteilen sind einige feine Kratzer. Alle Bauteile, die einer Alterung unterliegen und die somit den Klang negativ beeinflussen können, wurden durch hochwertige moderne Typen ersetzt. Hierzu zählen insbesondere alle Elektrolytkondensatoren. Die Platinen wurden genauestens inspiziert. Verdächtige Lötstellen wurden professionell nachgelötet. Die Beleuchtung des Laufwerks wurde auf LED umgebaut. Somit entfällt das lästige Wechseln der kaum noch erhältlichen und sehr teuren grünen Glühbirnen. Die Abtasteinheit wurde neu abgeglichen. Die Kontakte der Tasten wurden von Oxid befreit um eine einwandfreie Funktion sicherzustellen. In diesem Zustand wird der CD-Player noch viele Jahre seinen ausgezeichneten Klang behalten! Hiermit verkaufe ich einen Revox B225 CD-Player. Der CD Player wird als defekt verkauft. Er dreht und ffnet bzw. schliet ohne Probleme, jedoch liest er die CDs nicht ein. Das Netzteil gehrt dazu. Eine Fernbedienung ist nicht dabei. Mir ist bewusst, dass es sich um ein empfindliches Gert handelt. Der CD-Player wird sehr gut gepolstert in einem doppelten Karton mit grozgiger Verpackung versendet.
