In my near 10 years of ownership, I have probably played the turntable a total of 100 hours, if that. Prior owner anecdotally had roughly the same playtime if I remember correctly. I am selling because I have a second turn-table, and this one has not been getting as much airtime, so it’s gotta go. Auction listing starting at $0.99 so it will go for what it goes, no reserve. 100% smoke-free environment. Turntable is ready to play, but please note the following items, which you may choose to replace/upgrade depending on your personal preference: 1. Drive belt (Rega, white) probably needs replacement, but it works fine for now. (I replaced it once during my ownership.) 2. Elys 2 cart - this is the orignal cart that the table shipped with. Between previous owner and myself, the cart probably has around 200 hours on it. Not sure how good/bad that is, but it still plays fine to my ears. I immediately swapped this platter at the dealer on my new Planar 3 for a Groovetracer Delrin platter. Honestly not sure it was worth it to upgrade because this is a lovely, heavy platter. (This is the case with too many audiophile products.) But I am going to hang on to the Delrin because its theoretically better...and I like the color. This platter has been sitting in my closet unused since I bought the turntable. I am moving next year and its time to sell this off. This much loved turntable has been replaced with a P10, otherwise I would still be using it. It is equipped with an aluminium sub-platter, not a plastic one and super flexible silicone rubber drive belt. It has a Goldring G1042 cartridge. This really suits the Rega, its a superb pairing, I doubt anyone would not consider this a great combination. I only had the Goldring fitted a short while ago, it cannot have many hours of use.
