For sale is my upgraded Ania Pro cartridge. Purchased from a well-known technician with a re-tipping service on Ebay. The cartridge has low hours as I don't play vinyl very often and it is now a backup cartridge. It performed better than expected. I thought the Ania Pro was great sounding. This upgrade found even more details in my records. It's very exciting to hear something you never realized was there. The units I've purchased and used from this seller has been top-notch. I have 1 too many cartridges and I will reluctantly see if there's a market for this one. If not, oh well. I really want to keep it but we'll see how it goes for a week. It has the following: Complete, retipped, upgraded and tested Rega Ania Pro low output moving coil (MC) cartridge. Cartridge is 100% functional and sounds incredible. Physically perfect condition.Not only is this cartridge retipped, but it is upgraded with a solid 0.30mm pure ruby rod cantilever and nude 5/120micron Fritz Gyger S diamond. This radical asymmetrical diamond is the very finest phonograph diamond made today, with the longest scanning edge available, the lowest distortion, best tracking and also gentle on your records. The Fritz Gyger FG S is the same diamond as the van den Hul 1, both of which are produced under a shared patent.If you know the revolutionary Rega moving coil cartridges, you know how good the tiewire-less sound is. This suspension design does away completely with the typical suspension tie wire, freeing up the mechanism and unleashing incredible sound. The sound is incredibly accurate, clean, full end to end and detailed but without turning cold in the slightest way. Even with these upgrades that can sometimes make a cartridge sound somewhat cooler than an original model, the Apheta has retained its warmish voicing and full lively presentation. This cantilever and diamond on this cartridge is all upgrade with no compromise.The Ania Pro is originally produced with an aluminum cantilever and nude elliptical diamond. The Apheta 3 has added a line contact diamond. Aphelion adds a boron cantilever. This cartridge goes beyond line contact to Fritz Gyger S and surpasses the Aphelion 3 ($5500 MSRP) that is supplied with a boron cantilever and nude line contact diamond.

Aside from some dust, table is in very, very good condition. I purchased this in August 2023. I listened to a handful of records. Its been sitting unused for months. I just cant get back into the cadence of listening to records like I used to. Im afraid I am a digital fan these days . . . . Gross right? Factory mounted Ania MC cartridge has extremely low use. Maybe 10 hours? Probably isnt even broken in. If you are considering purchasing, please ensure you have a Phono Preamp compatible with Moving Coil cartridges and the output of this specific cartridge. There are a couple marks on the dust cover just from being dusted. Some other various finger prints (this is all black everything) Aside from that, this is like new. Color is Polaris Gray. To me it looks like black. . . Its a great table. I love it. Im just not using it and given the value, it would be better off in a place when someone will use it.
