Works perfectly, I bought it new last year and used it about 6 months. Pairs well with a Rega cartridge, but can be used with any MM or MC cartridge. Can also be used with one of each with a button on the front to switch between the MM or MC input. Very light scratching on the glass (from wiping it clean) which is extremely difficult to show up in photographs. You would only notice it in the correct glare from a bright light.

Moving coils also vary in the output. The Fono MC gives you what is basically a high or low gain setting -- either 63.5 or 69.5 dB of gain. Rega also gives you adjustable capacitance, which is not something you see in a lot of moving coil phono preamps. You have a choice of 1000pF or 4700pF.
