You are bidding on a set of stereo headphones, branded Realistic. These headphones were originally sold in Radio Shack stores in the USA and its dependents, and in Tandy stores in Britain and its colonial dependents. The headphones are coloured grey, have an adjustable black padded headband, black ear muffs, a black, straight 1.5 m (5) cord ending in a 6.35 mm (¼”) stereo tip-ring-sleeve plug. The headphone resistance is 8 Ohm per earpiece. I have disconnected the volume controls because one of them went open circuit and I could find no replacement slider potentiometer.I bought these headphones for my daughter to listen to her portable CD player. Very shortly after this, she went over to ear buds, to keep up appearances with her friends. And so, she abandoned these headphones. The headphones can be used for relaxed enjoyment of your favourite audio program material in moderately noisy environments, such as in your home or workshop. Audio quality is very good. With a suitable adapter, eg, 6.35 to 3.5 mm, these headphones can be used with such portable audio equipment as FM stereo radio, CD and DVD players. Packaging I make no charge for packaging. Your item will be properly wrapped and packed to withstand the usual rigors of postal and courier delivery systems. Shipping You must ask me to quote the shipping charge, because there are often differences between what eBay calculates, what the various shippers online calculators show, and what they actually charge. Generally, Australia Post uses the quickest delivery method, such as one of the more expensive Air Mail modes. eBay calculates postage based on the rates charged by Australia Post, in turn based on the weight and dimensions I have given.
