I purchased this amp used a year ago and always wondered about the finish. I called PS Audio to ask why this amp had a brushed aluminum case rather than powder coated. I was told that the few Beta units had brushed aluminum before they decided to powder coat when they went on sale to the public. I was also told that the electronics were unchanged..
