It has been bench tested and is fully working, however there is a small leak on the inside around the tank hose seal. The seal is broken as seen in pics, but should be a VERY easy fix with some silicone! We are selling this as parts/repair due to the leak only! Aside from this, it is 100% functional and works very well! Excellent near mint cosmetics with the leather cover included! The veneer is pretty much flawless. I am selling my Nitty Gritty 1.5fi record cleaning machine, which I no longer need. I bought it new and used it for about 2 years. The cleaning fluid I used had a rather high alcohol content which caused a leak in the pumps inner reservoir. Therefore, I removed that reservoir, since I preferred to manually apply the fluid anyway. The buyer may choose to replace the reservoir or use it manually. The rotating motor and the vacuum work well.

I dont really know anything about it other than info from company website, my dad had purchased it before he passed and never even opened the box. All original box and packing.

NITTY GRITTY LP RECORD CLEANING MACHINE. MODEL 1.5 Fi / SERIAL # 25363 / MADE IN USA THE UNIT IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION AND ALL FUNCTIONS WORK WELL. EXCEPT FOR THE FLUID PUMP WHICH LEAKED AFTER AWHILE SO I REMOVED IT. I USED THE CUBBY HOLE FOR STORAGE OF OTHER CLEANING ACCESSORIES. THE SCREWS ON THE BOTTOM WERE LOOSE AND SMALL SO I REPLACED THEM WITH SOME BETTER SCREWS TO HOLD THE BOTTOM. THE BOTTOM PANEL DOES HAVE SOME STAINING WHERE THE PUMPED LEAKED. THE VAC-SWEEP PAD IS NEW, THESE CAN BE TRICKEY TO INSTALL AND IT IS HARD TO GET IT EXACTLY RIGHT, THEY DONT STICK TO WELL WITH THE PROVIDED TAPE (AT LEAST FOR ME). IF YOU ARE A TINKERER YOU CAN TWEAK THE UNIT TO HOW YOU LIKE IT. I WILL INCLUDE THREE CAPSTAN REPLACEMENTS SO YOU CAN PUT ON A NEW ONE IF YOU WISH, THEY LAST A LONG TIME. INCLUDES THE BOTTOM DRAIN TRAY. THE WOOD IS NICE NO SCRATCHES. I WILL INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL FROM WHEN I BOUGHT IT. THESE WERE PRETTY PRICEY BACK IN THE DAY (SEE THE INCLUDED PRICE-LIST!).
