Selling one of my favorite pieces of gear. Ive owned these on 3 separate occasions. This MZ2 was purchased brand new from LTA when it was announced that they were discontinuing this model. I had a second set of pre-outs added instead of the speaker outs because I wanted to use it as a preamp with sub outs. It makes a wonderful preamp at this price and its a fantastic headlamp too. I bought the LPS+ also from LTA separately, but it was used. Theres some marks on its top that obviously done impact its performance. The MZ2 is in mint condition. Comes with stock 12sn7s and New production Telefunkens, I cant find the stock 12AT7 tubes. This unit does not have the remote option

Great Phono stage with a tiny footprint which makes it ideal for systems with restricted space. Included is the Power Station 3 which definitely gives the unit a boost sonically. A very nice DAC and Preamp combination. The unit is in near perfect cosmetic condition and has been part of my two channel system for just over three years. I would describe the sound as very detailed, natural and musical. The volume control is very transparent and does not distort the signal, which is great for listening either very quietly or when you want to crank up the volume. Having another DAC in my system for a few weeks reminded me of just how well the Stellar GainCell DAC handles all types of music. Everything sounds exactly like it should. Unfortunately after being discontinued, it looks like PS Audio is moving in the direction of separate (and much more expensive) components. They were selling refurbished Stellar GainCell DACs but I think those have all sold out, and for good reason. While you can still get them, this is one of the best deals in high end audio.
