This is the original internal moving magnet phono preamp module designed by Mike Creek for the first Cambridge Audio A1 model amplifier .It also fits subsequent models in the Cambridge A series: All the A1 mk2 and mk3 amps, the A2, A100, A4, A5 -, A500 and the C500 preamp separates. It can also be fitted to the Azur 540A and 640A amps, BUT ONLY THE FIRST version, not the V2 versions of the Azur, which had extra room networking circuits.All these amps were originally sold without a phono preamp, as at the time the audio world had abandoned record players in favour of CDs.
