Up for sale are two Emotiva XPA-100 Monoblock, high-quality power amplifiers. With four inputs, including stereo L/R RCA and XLR, these amplifiers will make your music collection or streaming choices sing. Its two outputs provide optimal power for an immersive listening experience. At 250 watts into 8 ohms and 400 watts into 4 ohms, these amps will have enough power to handle the most demanding speakers. Personally, I used a pair of Focal 926 full-range speakers with glorious results. Each amplifier comes with one 12-volt trigger wire, one XLR interconnect cable, and one Shunyata Research two-meter power cable. The amps will be shipped in its original double-box packaging. The Generation One amp doesnt come with a manual. It can be downloaded, however, at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/678572/Emotiva-Xpa-100.html#manual This system started out with two, first-generation amps. One of the amps failed over time so I replaced it with the second-generation amp. The specifications of the two amps are identical. The only difference with the generation-two amp is its all-black exterior. The two silver end caps on the generation-one can be replaced with black ones, a part that readily comes up for sale on the used market, an option if you want to maintain the visual continuity of your system. For me, the sound I was the only important thing that is why I never replaced them. I rate both amps in terms of cosmetics at an 8. There is a small smudge on the front of one amp (pictured) and a small scratch on top of the Generation-2 amp that isnt noticeable unless you know where to look (toward the back of the amp on the right-hand side. Note: I have left the protective film in place over the display on both amps. If you peel it off youll have a pristine display. In terms of performance, these two amps bring the muscle with bass that it is forceful and fast while the mids are neutral as well as the highs. Of course, the pre-amplifier controlling these amplifiers plays a big part in the sound reproduction. I used a Parasound Halo P6 that I have up for sale on ebay as well. Please see my separate ad. my listening room is small these days so I no longer need that Emotiva power. Ive downgraded to much less powerful integrated. Its now time for someone else to enjoy these amps.
