I didnt test the remote controller.The unit has a smell of animal urine. A bit of an unusual amp here - this is a Proceed Amp 3 with two channels working (Center and Left). Ive been using this a two-channel amp for a year, powering B&W Nautilus 802s, and sounding great. This is a Mark Levinson-designed amp, after all, and sounds fantastic even with difficult loads. If you know this amp, you know that this a bargain for essentially a 2-channel Proceed amp.

Each audio channel has its own, dedicated power supply — including a separate 300VA toroidal transformer for each channel.
