The Response D18 proved to be one of ProAc’s most successful loudspeakers, receiving critical worldwide acclaim but was only available with a dome tweeter. To satisfy demand for people wanting a ribbon tweeter ProAc has redesigned the D18 using an upgraded cabinet with new bass loading, new crossover network and the ProAc ribbon tweeter used in other ProAc models. This new, exciting model is called the D20R and, with the upgrades, the sound quality has improved in all areas. Improvements comprise of a new cabinet with bass loading used in D30 and D48 models. Working. Very heavy. Lovely Veneer. Although there are sone scratches and dints. Id give these a 7 out of 10. The foam has gone a bit mulchy around the tweeter fascia like they can do. Woofers play well. Very dynamic, punchy and super clear detailed sound. No grilles. No postage... Demo welcome... Possibility I can deliver/meet.

Proac Response Tri Tower Speakers Pair Audiophile. The speaker stand of one of the speakers was broken but it has been fixed

A pair of highly regarded Proac Response D18 Floor standing speakers with Maple finish. Very good condition and in perfect working order. The speakers are bottom ported to simplify positioning; there are currently foam pads attached to the bases, but I also have the original spikes. There are many reviews online including the following ProAc Response D18 review | What Hi-Fi? (whathifi.com) I have found the speakers to be very good allrounders, that work very well with Jazz, Rock and Orchestral. There are no chips in the veneer. There is a slight colour variance where the covers have been in place, the photo of the speaker to the left best demonstrates this. The original covers are also in very good condition. I have the original boxes and packaging so could courier to the UK only. This will be relatively expensive as a result of large size and weight and will be in addition to the buy-now price.
