MORE POWER, NOT MORE HASSLES All PrimaLuna's have incredible slam because of bandwidth. Power is secondary, and can in fact be bad news for unwary customers. To learn more about power, read Less Power, More Bass. But for customers with speakers that are 86dB efficient or lower, that have larger rooms and play at higher volumes, they may need more power. The cheap way to get more power from a tube amp is to raise the tube's plate and screen voltage, and bias them harder. It costs nothing to do so as a manufacturer, but we refuse to follow the pack. The reviews this unit received were enthusiastic. Remote Control and Owners Manual are included. It will be shipped in the original three piece box. There is a lot of sunlight reflection in some of the photos - this unit appears essentially blemish free. You will not believe your CDs could sound this good until you hear them on this player. I used it to record my CDs onto my music server because of the sound quality difference. This player has not been used since we downsized in late 2019 until I tested it before listing. It sounds wonderful. I have only ever heard one player I believe sounded clearly better and that was nearly $8,000. Remote control is included. Offering up this Primaluna Dialogue Series Amplifier for PARTS OR REPAIR. This was recovered out of an old TV/Radio repair shop and comes to you EXACTLY AS FOUND. I assessed it the best i could and plugged it in. It does turn on, however the right knob doesnt seem to function when you turn it? Unless im doing something wrong, it wasnt selecting through the outputs? The left knob is detatched completely and i believe is detatched inside the unit. I can hear a screw or something moving around inside. There are only the front row of tubes in the front which appear to be all good. The case exterior has many scratches. Not sure how so many scratches accumulated because this is not exactly a cheap piece of equipment. This amp is extremely heavy and solid. Comes in its original box with original foam.
