Hi there and thank you for viewing my auction! Up for sale is a beautiful Primaluna Prologue Eight Vacuum Tube CD player. (Also known as the Prologue Classic CD Player.) This is the USA, 110-120v version of the player. It is in perfect working condition and sounds fantastic. Included is the original box (triple boxed), a copy of the manual printed on copier paper, a heavy-duty power cord, and the original anodized aluminum remote. It comes with the original Primaluna branded tubes, which should have plenty of life left in them. I rarely used this unit as I typically stream my music to my USB DAC. Now for the flaws as I prefer full disclosure rather than an upset buyer! I want you to be happy with your purchase! The remote is held together with 4 screws and two rubber rings that also serve to protect your furniture from the metal causing scratches. One of the screws from the bottom of the remote is missing. It in no way affects the functionality of the remote, but I want you to be aware. I didnt even notice it until I was preparing the unit for eBay. The only other flaw of note is a slight dent on top of the unit near the back, near one of the vent holes. I think it came that way from the factory, and could just be the way they all are - Im not sure. See photos. I tried to catch it with the camera, but its very hard to see. Theres no nick in the paint or anything, its just slightly pressed in. Again, minor, but I want you to be aware of any and all flaws I was able to find. If you’re looking at this you know how great these amps are. Some of the few amps that only get more expensive with age. This right here is my most favorite amplifier I have ever owned (and I’ve owned Mcintosh) and the only reason it’s being listed is because I’m in a tough spot in life and need the money. The only reason this is in excellent condition and not mint is because there’s a tiny chip in paint on the back that you hardly notice (see photo). No dent and no damage really just a small chip of paint. This amp was purchased nearly two years ago from Upscale Audio. It comes with the pre installed phono stage, upgraded Gold Lion KT88’s, and I’ll also include the stock PrimaLuna EL34’s. The KT88’s were only installed a couple of months ago and probably have around 20-30 hours only. The EL34’s were used a lot more but they still sound incredible. You will not be disappointed with this amplifier. I still have the packaging I received from upscale audio and it’s triple boxed. Shipping is a little pricey because this thing weighs A LOT! You are about to bid on a PrimaLuna Evo 100 Tube Poweramplifier. This was purchased by me new from a local dealer. The power tubes are EL34 with 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes in the front end. You can also run KT88 and other tubes as this amplifier will automatically bias to some degree. The manufacturer lists specifications on their website. I’ve used this power amplifier in a system with Tannoy Cheviots. The sound is superb. Very full. Tannoy loudspeakers are quite efficient but I don’t detect any hum or hiss. It’s almost solid state with the holographic qualities of tubes. My preamplifier is a Shiit Freya Plus. I’ve run the 6SN7 tubes and solid state, so called LSST tubes on that preamp with success in this system. I estimate something around 500 or less total hours of listening. I also run a solid state amp and find myself running that more often. This is basically a brand new piece. I have reconfigured my room and need to use only balanced connections. This power amplifier is only single ended so it must go. That isn’t a limitation if your preamplifier source will be reasonably close by. This needs a new home and could be a big score for your system. I’m not in the professional sales game so I can’t take returns at this time. Study this carefully before buying. Downgraded to an integrated amplifier so I am parting with this amazing all tube Primaluna Evo 400 preamplifier. The sound from this unit is nothing short of amazing and there are plenty of reviews online to look at.I am the second owner, and this unit was kept in a dedicated listening room that is smoke and pet free. Up for offer is a pair of stunning Primaluna Prologue mono blocks. These have been used once a week in for about hours. I am the original owner and have the original shipping boxes. The condition is excellent. They arent flawless but you or anyone else wont notice any imperfections. They are stunning sounding amps that have a build quality that is seriously impressive. They have been nearly bullet proof. One KT88 went out a few years ago. Thats it. I am only selling because I need more efficient amps as my listening room is being moved off the grid.
