For sale are two vintage 1980s Polk SDA-SRS 2.3 speakers. Sold by original owner these speakers have been in a clean, smoke-free, air conditioned environment since new. Each cabinet features 6 bass drivers (including SDA array), 3 SL-2000 tweeters, and a bass radiator. Tweeters were replaced in roughly 2007, otherwise they are factory original and in very good condition. There is minor damage to the speaker grill cloth from a pet cat (visible in photos). Sale includes original user manual, SDA connection cable, and original Bass Braces to anchor to the wall of your listening room. This is an ideal speaker set for a buyer who wants to perform a crossover and tweeter recap/upgrade to their desired specification. They are of the age that updating is probably due but upon doing so the buyer will be rewarded with an incredible sounding system. These are large, powerful speakers intended to be paired with a strong amplifier and will fill a large room with incredible sound. The imaging from the Stereo Dimensional Array is stunning. These are among the best speakers ever created by Matthew Polk. Im selling due to a home remodel that eliminated space for speakers of this size. Each cabinet is 55H x 20-11/16W x 13-1/8D and weighs approx 155lbs. For that reason Im offering local pickup only with no returns. Please ask questions and Ill answer to the best of my knowledge.

Here is a 30 cable that connects Polk Audio SDA series speakers that have 2 flat spade type receptacles. (some have a spade and a pin). Excellent cosmetic and working condition. I got it from the estate of a Polk Audio aficionado. Im pretty sure it is an OEM factory cord. I will pack well and ship quickly.

The Vintage Polk Audio SDA 1 Floor Tower Speakers are a pair of American-made speakers known for their amazing sound quality. These speakers come in a set of two units and are from the Polk Audio brand. They are designed with the unique SDA (Stereo Dimensional Array) technology for an immersive listening experience. These speakers have been very well taken care of. Everything works as it should. They are very impressive. Located near Spokane WA, you are welcome to come pick them up or they will arrive shipped In separate crates to you for $ 200. They come as a pair, as shown, no cables or wires. They are in really nice condition but as any 40 plus year old pair of speakers there are some minor surface scratches but nothing close to Major.

Polk Audio SDA 2 Tower Speakers Stereo Dimensional Array Loudspeakers •Mid 1980s These are excellent sounding high end performing vintage speakers. I am the second owner of these, but it is time to downsize and pass them on to the next audio enthusiast. Aesthetically they are in amazing condition. Grills are free of snag, rips, and tears. The cabinets are pristine with no scratches, chips or dents. Please review all photos prior to purchase. I will also be more than happy to demo them. The videoclip does not do this justice. The SDA-2A was directly designed by Matthew Polk during the era when Polk was making true performance loudspeakers. The SDA technology involves combining two speaker systems in each cabinet of a mirror-image stereo pair. The inner one (nearest to the center of the room), called the stereo array, is a normal stereo speaker. The second system, known as the dimensional array, is located a few inches to the outside of the stereo array. Each dimensional array is driven by the stereo signal from the opposite speaker in the pair, and the frequency, phase, and amplitude characteristics of its output are modified so that when its sound reaches the ear of the listener, it cancels the sound arriving at that ear from the opposite speaker. The result, in the ideal case, is that each ear hears only the sound from its corresponding speaker, without the interaural crosstalk, and consequent spatial distortion, that would otherwise exist.The speakers have a unique sound characteristic and lets them present a huge soundstage.
