Here is an iconic 90’s pioneer CD player with the legendary stable platter mechanism, where you insert the disc upside down on a turntable platter. This model is very similar to the famous pioneer pd-65 but smaller and simpler, sounding identical to my ears (I own a pd-65) but for less than half the price. This model has a unique warm vinyl-like sound characteristic of the elite stable platter series of the time. This particular example is fully working; it reads and plays cd’s flawlessly, fast forwards and skips, and sounded great when I tested it with my sound system. Cosmetically, it is also great with just some minor scratches. For those who want an audiophile quality CD player for an entry level price, jump on this rare opportunity while you can!
