You can record on both blank DVDS and onto the hard drive. This unit is one of those weird combo units as you can record your videos to the hard drive and store them there. Comes with the unit itself. Has no remote. Comes with Composite Cables, Component Cables, AC Cable and a few blank dvds to get you going. Pioneer DVR-640H-S DVD Player HDD Recorder 160GB Dvd recorder has been tested and is fully functional. Comes with original remote control, power cord, and a 5 pack of DVD-R discs. Recorder shows quit a bit of cosmetic wear, mostly on top and front flip down panel. Remote is in great shape. Some very minor corrosion can be seen on the battery positives. Everything remains fully functional. Please see all photos.
