Description
Up for auction is a rare Pioneer DVR-640H video recorder with 160GB internal drive DVR. This was the top of line unit when it was released for home DVRs. Im the single owner of it and it has been used sparingly when I needed to record cable television programs for documentary work. Otherwise its been stored in a sealed bag in my media closet. I tested it this morning and it still plays DVDs and CDs flawlessly, as well as writing to DVDs and recording to the internal hard drive. Remote also works flawlessly. Physical condition is very good, a few small scratches commensurate with age. Please see detailed photos. Sales includes power cable and remote. Will ship via USPS Ground or UPS Ground depending on your location. With a big 160GB Hard Disk Drive at your disposal, you can record your favorite TV shows, plus hours and hours of home movies, into temporary storage. Then, you can view them, edit them, or burn them to DVD as keepers. And of course, the DVR-640H-S puts on a great show playing regular DVD movies as well.King-Sized 160GB Hard Disk DriveThe built-in 160GB Hard Disk Drive lets you record movies and TV shows for temporary storage. Disc BackupWith Disc Backup, a Pioneer® exclusive, you can make a direct file transfer of your home-movie DVD back to the Hard Disk Drive, and from that make as many copies of your home movie as you want, all at blazing speed.Up to 10 Hours on a DVDWith the recording mode set to SEP mode (lowest video quality), you can get up to 10 hours on one disc.HELP ButtonStuck in the middle of a task like setting up a recording? It also plays CDs and CD-R/RW discs with WMA and MP3 files, and its JPEG photo viewer is compatible with Fujifilm™ and Kodak® discs and CD-R/RWs burned from your computer.Built-in TV Tuner*A built-in TV tuner is included, so you dont have to connect to another component to receive a terrestrial TV signal.Sophisticated Video and Audio PlaybackPureCinema™ 2:3 Progressive Scan gives you a more film-like presentation when watching movies. The 54MHz/10-bit video DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) delivers beautiful video quality. Plus, weve included the latest Dolby® Digital and DTS® Digital surround sound outputs, and a high-end 24-bit/192kHz audio DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) for superb musical performance. †This unit may not be able to play back discs recorded on other units due to recording conditions, mode, surface dirt or scratches.* This unit has only an analog broadcast tuner so it will require a converter box after February 17, 2009 to receive over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna, because of the nations transition to digital broadcasting on that date, as required by Federal law.
