Der Player spielt Laserdisc‘s in den Formaten NTSC (USA, Japan) sowie PAL (Europa) und ist daher flexibel einsetzbar. Desweiteren kann er CompactDisk‘s also Audio CD‘s sowie die eher seltenen CDVideo’s CDV (nicht zu verwechseln mit VCD!) abspielen. Die Bedienung per Tasten ist komplett möglich. Der Vor- bzw. Rückspulknopf ist vorhanden (s.Fotos) nur nicht mehr funktional. Die Abdeckung des Displays fehlt, was der Bedienbarkeit aber keinen Abbruch tut. (diese Ersatzteile sind leider nicht mehr erhältlich). Der Anschluss an ein TV-Gerät kann über Scart als auch Cinch erfolgen, wobei letzterer das bessere Bildergebnis bringt. Der Ton kann auch digital über einen optischen Ausgang übermittelt werden.
