This Parasound P/HP-850 preamp is renowned online for its excellent sound quality, and this example is in near mint condition. Jawas found this while in port.. They dont speak English but they do know brands. Parasound is one them immediately grab site unseen. I tested this unit for a week our two, and everything works. This unit has a few dings and scratches, but does not affect the sound. Also,unit does not come with a power cable. Audiophiles are weird about those, so I avoid the whole discussion. This is a great unit to pair with your other Parasound, and it is vintage enough to have a PHONO input! 4.5 stars on Audireviews...see link below. If you are in the Vintage audio space, then you a very well aware that aging electronics inherently need servicing. As it turns out, they end up better than new as the modern parts such as capacitors, are far superior to decades ago. That said, these units are working, but Ebays policy does not reflect the inherent risk that should be passed along when ownership is exchanged. If you love the hobby, then you know what I mean. Please read my reviews as I am an honest seller. IF the seller cites a return reason that is NOT valid, then the refund will be minus shipping and a 15% service return fee. P/HP-850 that looks and works great. This is a class A preamp that I used with a parasound amp. All indicators work and there is no static in the controls. It has been reliable and a joy to use during my time with it. Please feel free to ask any questions on it.

Very good condition. Works very well and sounds excellent. It is pretty sensitive to the dirty power in my house and can pick up the 60Hz buzz as a result. I recommend having a good power conditioner.
