This is a used Arcam DV79 CD & DVD player that DOES NOT work properly. It plays CDs (see photos #5 & 6), but not DVDs. It is cosmetically in good condition, but has a few marks on the top. please review all photos. When a DVD movie is inserted, the screen displays LOAD and after a few seconds BAD DISC appears or sometimes No DISC, even though the same DVDs are playable with other DVD players (see photos #7, 8 & 9). I used it only as a CD player on my test station until I decided to now sell it. This is when I tried the DVD function and discovered it does work. I never had the remote, so I am unable to dig into the menu settings.
