Early 2013 I unpacked the Rega and was going to sell it but it still worked OK and still sounded much more open and less compressed than the flac files I was playing through my 24bit professional sound card with Burr Brown dacs so after a clean up and service I then tried many of the now popular new MM cartridges but I still missed the detail and clarity of MC. I saw a brand new reissue MC 20 Supreme on ebay with a cheap buy now price and since purchase still cant believe my luck. Really tight and deep bass and with beautifully detailed mid to high frequencies with no harshness whatsoever.
