Early 2013 I unpacked the Rega and was going to sell it but it still worked OK and still sounded much more open and less compressed than the flac files I was playing through my 24bit professional sound card with Burr Brown dacs so after a clean up and service I then tried many of the now popular new MM cartridges but I still missed the detail and clarity of MC. I saw a brand new reissue MC 20 Supreme on ebay with a cheap buy now price and since purchase still cant believe my luck. Really tight and deep bass and with beautifully detailed mid to high frequencies with no harshness whatsoever. This cartridge still gives me goosebumps on acoustic vocals when you close your eyes, it seems like you are at the live performance.
