This Onkyo Integra TA-2600 3-Head Cassette Deck is a great addition to any home audio system. It has recently been fully serviced and is in excellent working order. The deck features 3 motors, 3 heads and a new drive belt, making it easy to listen to your favorite tapes. The black color and sleek design of the deck make it a stylish addition to any home audio setup. With a pitch range of +/- 3%, this cassette deck is perfect for any audiophile. It is a great choice for those looking for a high-quality cassette tape deck that is both reliable and stylish. Above by eBay version of AI. Recently serviced 3-head deck with a new capstan and back tension belt. Both original belts were melted and turned to black goo. Both were cleaned and replaced. The tape transport in this deck is the same as used in many well regarded Nakamichi BX series decks. It has the improved gear drive over the older and often worn out rubber idler that will never need to be changed. I removed the transport to clean and relube the flywheel and capstan bearings and change the belts. Cleaned the control motor contacts. The tape heads and entire tape path were cleaned and demagnetized. The tape speed was adjusted to correct value and the W&F was tested at .06-.07 %. The record and play calibration and bias was adjusted for TDK SA, AD and MA tapes and the frequency response is excellent. This deck checks out in all respects: the front panel BIAS adjust will let you fine tune the calibration to fit the tape you are using to record, the AMCS feature will automatically fast forward and find the next song on a cassette. The deck will calibrate the timer for different size cassettes and tell you how much times left on cassette to help you decide if you can add another track. The 3 heads will let you monitor the tape as it is being recorded and compare the tape to the source as it records.
