I just started wearing hearing aids and I have decided to sell several of my speaker pairs as I can no longer tell the difference between good and bad. Actually these speakers are on Sterophile magazines list of best under $2,000 speakers you can buy. They not only sound fantastic but they are stunning to look at. They are covered in a black ash wood veneer. The metal binding post jumpers have been replaced with high quality wire for improved sound. I should mention that I recommend that you biwire for the best sound. The speakers will be shipped in the original packaging and will include the manual. I am selling because I just purchased a small tube amplifier of 6 watts and it will not drive these speakers correctly. They are 8 ohm, but are a little less efficient at 87db. I need something over 92 for my new amplifier. You will be just fine driving these with anything over 40W per channel. I was using a 50W per channel amplifier and it was plenty.
